Amelie's Room is a collection of designer cot blankets, picnic blankets, change mats and hand-knitted accessories and gifts created for fashionable mums and made from high quality 100% cotton fabrics. Designed and made in Sydney, Australia.

Our designs are simple and striking, yet natural and soft for your baby's delicate skin. Whether you choose a cot blanket, change mat, blankie or a Mother & Baby Picnic Blanket, you can guarantee our designs are made from the highest quality and sourced from the most beautiful fabrics.

Inspiration

Designed for fashion conscious mums. As a mother myself, I was disappointed by the blankets on offer. Those cot blankets that were available were often polyester or made from other unnatural fibres. And there was absolutely nothing in the ways of a mother and baby blanket to sit on in the park. Tired of polyester "Winnie the Pooh's" and plaid picnic blankets, I decided I wanted something that was best for my baby… but I wanted it to look good too!

Other blankets and bedding make claims to be 100% cotton only to discover that they use polyester wadding. Amelie's Room uses 100% cotton wadding in both our cot blankets and our Mother & Baby Picnic Blankets. The 100% pure natural cotton is made right here in Australia using Australian cotton. We strongly believe that cotton is best for you and your baby.

Because we want what is best for our children, natural fibres are softer, cotton is easy to care for, gentle on the skin and fire resistant.

All Amelie's Room cot blankets and blankies are 100% cotton inside and out. Our Mother & Baby Picnic Blankets follow the same principles and where possible we have used a 100% cotton waterproof backing.

Amelie's Room is very proud to be designed and handmade in Australia, absolutely sweatshop free, with a clear conscience and by people who care about the product. We believe in working with the local community and our Amelie's Room Tote Bags are made by people with disabilities in New South Wales.
