I began this project a few years ago to tackle the large amount of organic (compostable) waste thrown into landfill everyday particularly in the hospitality industry that I work in. I saw local cafes and restaurants throwing many bags full of fruit and veggie scraps, used coffee grounds, and old paper menus into the garbage bin and wanted to do something about it. I hated seeing it go to landfill! So I started collecting them, I knew these materials could be composted or put in the worm farm. Today I have 10 worm farms and love sharing my passion for sustainable living!

Compost Worms are Red Wrigglers(also known as Tiger Worm, Red Worm and Manure Worm) bred specificially for worm farms. Thrive on eating lots of decaying matter such as fruit and veggie scraps, and decomposed manures. They can eat the body weight in food every 48 hours!
