Students who come to Allstar have the opportunity to learn Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acrobatics and Hip Hop while participating in an end of year concert, eisteddfods and exams. (Although these are not compulsory)

Allstar opened its doors in Queensland in 1999 with just 17 students and then by the year 2000 it grew to 200 plus students and continues to grow today. We have a 96% retention rate with the majority of students starting from a young age and continuing through to young adults.

Dawne opened Allstar with the intention of creating a school that provided a safe and positive environment for aspiring young dancers. Allstar encourages children to move and present themselves in a way that makes them feel confident in their bodies, as we carefully choreograph age appropriate routines and select costumes that will make every child feel comfortable.

Every role model at Allstar believes that the technicalities of dance can be taught in a way that supports the dancer in a kind and friendly manner. Through dance children can increase their self-esteem and body image by empowering not only themselves, but each other. Each and every student is encouraged to be the best they can possibly be and amaze themselves with what they are capable of. By learning dance students are not only developing coordination, good posture, elegance, flexibility, strength, fitness, balance, spatial awareness and self discipline but also make lifetime friendships and have a childhood they just live for and will never forget.

Over the years students have taken part in exhibitions, successfully competed at local eisteddfods, concerts and tours to Disney USA where they participated in workshops and performances.

Its teachers have over thirty years' experience in teaching and dancing professionally in Australia Europe and the USA. They are registered teachers with the Australian Teachers of Dance as well as the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance.
