PCYC Glebe/Leichhardt has been servicing the local community since May 1943 in Federal St Glebe and is one of the earliest PCYC centres in Sydney.

PCYC Glebe/Leichhardt has been servicing the local community since May 1943 in Federal St Glebe and is one of the earliest PCYC centres in Sydney. The club was originally located on the water at Jubilee Park, Glebe but it burnt down in the early 60's. The rebuilt club was built on the current site in 1965 and soon became central to community life.
Over the years the club has undergone rejuvenation, in May 2020 we reopened a brand new state of the art gymnastics centre.

Here at South Sydney our boxing ring and gym facilities are exceptional, encouraging all members of the community to engage in a happy and healthy lifestyle. For our younger members daily 'Youth Drop In' allows school children to come in and enjoy an afternoon filled of sport, arts & crafts and cooking as well as providing food and school support. In addition, we provide; Traffic Offender Programs, Fit For life programs and finally Judo, Jiu Jitsu and boxing classes. Our facilities also consist of a dance hall, Karate room, homework room, basketball court, playground area and gym space.

We have a strong boxing reputation and history that has connected us with the community since the 30s. Boxing is one of the original sports conducted at the City of Sydney club when it was established in 1937. For over 80 years the Woolloomooloo Boxing Program has been the home gym for State, National and World Champions and continues that tradition today.
