When to see a podiatrist
Podiatrists are trained to diagnose and treat conditions of the foot and lower limb. Conditions may result from bone and joint disorders such as arthritis, injuries to the feet and lower limb, immobility, muscular, neurological or circulatory diseases.
Many foot problems can be prevented if noticed early. Some foot problems can be very serious while others are relatively minor. A podiatrist can diagnose and treat the following conditions. So if you are concerned about, or suffer from, any of these complaints please call us for an appointment.

ACT Footcare podiatrists are trained in all aspects of foot and lower limb conditions, use up-to-date medical equipment, treat patients of all ages and are dedicated to preventing the occurrence of future foot problems.
A podiatrist in Manuka can help with a range of issues such as cutting your toenails to avoid ingrown toenails, offerring orthotic inserts to help with heel and arch pain, helping with skin issues such as corns and calluses and managing diabetic foot issues.
Many health fund will offer a rebate for Manuka podiatry services under their extras cover. Check your specific fund for details.
You should always call and make an appointment rather than just turning up. Generally most Manuka podiatry clinics will have a schedule to manage their demand for their services.
You do not need a referral to see a Manuka podiatrist.
