THE ART DOCTOR is a qualified art restoration and conservation service dedicated to the care and repair of artworks and photographs. -Restoration and repairs of oil and acrylic paintings on canvas, board and paper, including tears, holes, cracking, flaking paint, cleaning dirt and mould, discoloured varnishes, transport damage, smoke, fire and water damage, aged discoloured varnishes, lining and re-stretching
-Restoration and repairs of frames
-High-resolution scanning, digital restoration and printing of photographs, and documents
-Working with allied professionals, The Art Doctor can also restore and repair sculptures, works on paper and historical artefacts
-Onsite assessments
-Pre auction or sale inspections and assessments
