In December 2000, I built the first version of Music Teachers Online. It was a small searchable database to help promote local music teachers. Since then the website has been revised a number of times to accommodate the growing number of music teachers and music schools wishing to promote themselves online.
The website now has 13726 members and receives approximately 40,000 visitors each month.
