Waratah Lodge is a beautiful wooden lodge that looks over Waratah Bay and Wilson's Promontory.
Waratah Lodge is a beautiful place to stay All the rooms are well appointed with everything you need and they all have brilliant views over Waratah Bay and Wilsons Prom. There are some lovely walks around the Lodge where you will see a number of native flora and fauna.. Waratah Lodge needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. It is located in a very quiet cul de sac, nestled on a slope overlooking the rolling waves of Waratah Bay and beyond to the hills and islands of Wilsons Promontory. The accommodation wing is built of hebel brick which offers excellent insulation from both sound and weather extremes. Each.bedroom is lined with a different timber giving each a uniqueness of its own.
The main reception area features a large double sided chimney which has a wood fired heater on one side and an open fire on the other.
This room is divided by the chimney into lounge space and a dining area. The whole building is built to face the ocean with expansive windows along that side and a balcony the full length of the reception area. We also have, on our neighbouring farm, Bimbadeen a 3 bedroom self contained house perfect for family stays.
