New Bed & Breakfast opens in McLaren Vale which is going fill a gap in the accomoadtion market for this style of accomodation in McLaren Vale
Trish and Nick Tassie have opened the doors to their new bed and breakfast in McLaren Vale.
Jessica's Place is a large home with expansive outdoor area and spacious rooms, including a fully equipped kitchen and stylish bedrooms.
When converting the home, Trish and Nick were keen to ensure it would comfortably accommodate up to five couples or a large family.
They're now pleased this was their vision because they've already received interested feedback from regional tourist operators, wineries and other B&B facilities, saying there is a gap in the market for this style of accommodation.
"Most places cater for couples or groups of four and from what people are telling us there's not a lot around the area that accommodates 10 people, in the one house, for either short or long stays," Trish said.
"We particularly want to see wedding parties and other large groups enjoying Jessica's Place.
"We've designed it so couples can have privacy, especially the bridal couple, who's bedroom is furnished with a beautiful four-poster bed and has it's own ensuite and walk-in-robe.
"Before the wedding, Jessica’s Place would be ideal for the bridal party to prepare for the big day."
Trish said that Jessica's Place is suitable for families and other large groups. With a fully enclosed backyard, parents can relax under the shady pergola while the children play.
Upon arrival guests receive a complimentary bottle of local wine, a fruit basket and generous breakfast provisions – all to ensure guests are off to a good start for a relaxing holiday.
"And with shops, cafés, restaurants, and a few wineries within walking distance, there's plenty to do without having to get into the car," she said.
And when they're ready to explore the region, there's nothing better than asking a local.
"Nick is the third generation of a local family," Trish said, "So we hope Jessica's Place will provide an accommodation facility that will encourage more people to stay and enjoy this beautiful area."
