I have been to this hostel 3times in 2 years and I stayed always around 4-5month. It is such a great place and every time I came back the people were awesome. First I worked at a grapes farm for picking and packing then I worked 2 seasons at MFC and 2 seasons at the garlic factory. I safed up soooo much money every single time that when I travelled afterwards I never had to worried about money. It is such a nice hostel to go. It is very clean and the rooms are with own ensuit. It is perfect located, doesn't take u long to go to the shops and restaurants and pubs. When I satyed there, almost everyone was working and earned good money. I would recommend the Oasis to everybody! Rent is 150dollar a week and has to be paid on thursday!

The hostel is a perfect place to stay to get the days for your second year and to safe up money. I stayed for 4 month and I worked in a orange packing factory which was a great job - I earned sooo much money. Before the orange season started I worked on a grape farm for 4 weeks - earned enough to pay everything. The manager find you jobs.
The hostel is a clean place and really big(huge outside area, big kitchen, TV room)the rent amounts 150 dollar per week which is pretty normal. I would say it is the best place to stay in Mildura - you will meet awesome people. It is even close to the city, shops and 'night life' ;-)
