Symmetry Fitness Health and Wellbeing is the new venture of Andrew Fisher's.
Andrew is one of the most experienced trainers in Sydney, having spent more than a decade working as a personal trainer and business owner.
For five years Andrew was the co-owner of Harbourside Health and Fitness, running two personal training studios on Sydney's lower north shore. The business attracted a range of clients, from 20 to 75 year olds and ran programs including personal training, boxing and group exercise classes and corporate training sessions. In 2009 Fitness Australia named Harbourside as Personal Training Business of the year (NSW). It was also a finalist in the awards for national Personal Training business of the year, also awarded by Fitness Australia.
Andrew has had specialist training which qualifies him to work with specific groups including older adults, children and pre- and post-natal women.

At Symmetry Fitness Health and Wellbeing we believe that your fitness, health and wellbeing are three essential components of a healthy, balanced and fulfilled life. Symmetry Fitness Health and Wellbeing has the experience and knowledge to lay the foundations to help you to achieve your goals in these areas.
Some of our corporate clients include Coca Cola Amatil and Coca Cola South Pacific, Diageo Australia, Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceutical, Tresscox Lawyers and Magnus Investor Relations (both personal training and corporate group training sessions).
Additionally we have been engaged by companies to conduct personal fitness and health testing. These include companies such as National Australia Bank and Coca Cola
In 2010, Andrew was also involved as the training provider for the 30 Days of Health and Wellbeing, a nationwide program aimed at increasing awareness of health related issues. Participating companies included the Heart Foundation and Blackmores.

It is essential to be honest in all dealings with all people associated with Symmetry Fitness and for us to act with integrity to ourselves and others. We also believe it is important for our clients to be honest with themselves about their goals and the level of effort involved in achieving these.
We believe in supporting charities and giving back to the community. Previously we have assisted the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Girls Night In (cancer), Juvenile Diabetes Research (JDRF), and local schools such as Neutral Bay Primary. Andrew will continue to give a percentage of revenue to charities and associations.

These groups are about training in a group environment, having fun, working together and utilizing the group dynamic to get fitter.
What do the sessions consist of?
The sessions consist of an ever-changing variety of exercises that are based around cardio training such as running, walking and jogging, body weight exercises, resistance bands, weights training and circuits.
Boxing technique and cardio boxing, core strength (abs, butts and thighs) plus muscular endurance and toning exercises.
We will also introduce new equipment that will be totally new to you, to keep the workouts challenging and fresh. It will make everyday activities a whole lot easier, you will look and feel fantastic at the same time as getting fit and feeling good in time for summer!
Sessions generally last for an hour.

Corporate Group Training
These groups are about training in a group environment, having fun, working together and utilizing the group dynamic to get fitter. Additionally the sessions are designed to build team spirit and camaraderie.
We make sure all team members are working to their level and getting the most out of each session to improve their health and fitness.
It is well known that a fitter and healthier workplace leads to less sickness, higher productivity and a happier bunch of colleagues.
Personal Training is about learning to understand the body's health and fitness requirements and to help you achieve these goals. We will help guide you to understand and manage your own health and well-being. It is not only an exercise program but a period of motivation, self-awareness and education.
No matter what your level of fitness, all that matters is that you achieve the goals you set out to do. Working at your own pace, we will help you to succeed.
Personal training sessions are incorporated into your exercise program. We recommend at least one to two 45 to 60 minute training sessions per week in conjunction with your own exercise sessions. These sessions can be conducted within a studio environment or outdoors, or a mixture of both. This will depend on your program needs. We can set you your own homework tasks to complete in your own time or you can choose to attend more personal training sessions at your discretion.
We can also provide nutritional advice, and put you in touch with other health professionals such as physiotherapy and chiropractic. Not only that, we work with them to get the best possible outcomes for you.
Personal training sessions are conducted by our experienced trainers and are booked at a time that is convenient to you and your trainer.
Older Adults Fitness
Personal training for older adults is similar to a normal training session, however we can focus on specific issues such as functional fitness exercises, rehab for injury, or even falls prevention programs. Whatever the requirement of the client, it can be addressed by our trainers.
Wellness refers to us being the best we can be emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
As life gets busier and more demanding, a wellness coach can help you achieve balance in all these areas. A wellness coach can work with you to develop a plan to ensure you are getting the most out of your day to day life by addressing your fitness, nutrition and health goals.
