In October 2008 at the Bi-Annual National Kindermusik Educators Conference held in QLD, Shirley Webb received an award in Recognition of Outstanding Service & Dedication on the Advisory Board of Australian & New Zealand Educators for 2006-2008.

The award was presented by International CEO Michael Dougherty and Sylvia Stock Director of Kindermusik Australia. The Advisory Board works closely with Kindermusik Australia, Kindermusik International and local educators to ensure that educators have available the best early childhood training in age appropriate fun musical activities for young children aged 0 to 7 years, that aims to stimulate and enhance development of the whole child.

"As a licensed educator for 7 years now it is very exciting to see children develop from babies to pre-schoolers, beautifully prepared for big school with a love and appreciation for music" said Shirley Webb Program Director at Menai.

The carefully researched, international program whilst first and foremost a music program is really about using music as a learning tool to enhance all areas of a child's development.

Research has proven that music nurtures a child’s musical, cognitive, emotional, social, language and physical development. You will see your child grow and develop in all these areas—at his/her own pace.
