As well as a rigourous academic approach, John Colet School offers much more than a thorough grounding in the NSW curriculum. All students take part in a Shakespeare Festival and put on a play each year. We teach a system of mindfulness training which we have found aids in the children's focus and attention. Our students are also given the option of learning meditation once they reach 10 years of age.
All our students learn a classical language and modern languages are offered both in school time (Spanish) and as an extra-curricular options (French and Mandarin).
Our students are regulary assessed with benchmark testing, and perform consistently well in NAPLAN tests.
