Churchill and Coombes was formed in 1928 as a trader in hessian sacks. In the late 1960s it became clear that plastics were the "way of the future"; Churchill and Coombes began developing its plastic bag making capabilities. Today we are a vertically integrated supplier of plastic bags and plastic film. Because we make film, print and form bags at our factory in Lidcombe we can maintain extremely short lead times. We typically hold about 50 tonnes of film stock in our factory. This means that whatever type of plastic bag you need, we will normally have the film in stock so we can make the bags

Churchill and Coombes supplies the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries. We have staff members above 50 years old so we need to do everything possible to protect ourselves and the customers we supply from corona virus interruptions. As of JULY 2021 only employees of Churchill and Coombes are allowed on site. 95%+ of our sales are done via phone or internet so this should not interrupt our business.
