A Shiatsu session is conducted on a treatment mattress, with the client fully clothed. In a Shiatsu session I apply pressure with my knees hands elbows and feet along the Meridians Tsubo (Acu point's) A Shiatsu Session often also incorporates therapeutic limb/joint mobilizations-rotations and assisted stretches.
Sessions can also be conducted on a massage table using my own crafted oils and balms, incorporating techniques from Western Massage and also some Lomi Lomi Techniques (Traditional Hawaiian Body therapy) which I learnt and some of the spirit of Aloha at Aunty Angelina's Kaihalanaopuna Locey (Traditional Kapuna) in Kauai- Hawaii.s conducted on a treatment mattress, with the client fully clothed.
