Fishing enthusiasts will find a variety of species in local waters, including the famously elusive barramundi.
Dugong Beach Resort is in the country of the Anindilyakwa speaking people. The resort works with the local people to create a range of tours that complement the Groote Eylandt experience. Local artists exhibit and sell their work through the Resort's Cultural Centre.
