Hi I'm Quinn, I specialize in piano lessons in your own home. I teach absolute beginners & students who are more advanced and looking to further their skills. I also specialize in modern styles such as blues and jazz techniques, including improvisation. Having said that, I also have many years experience taking students through the classical AMEB syllabus, up to grade 8.

I teach around the central coast area and currently have spots available around Erina, Erina Heights, Avoca Beach, Terrigal, Copacabana, Kincumber, Macmasters Beach, Hardys Bay and Empire Bay areas. Plus, I am more than happy to come to you!

My teaching style is based on the needs of the student. Some of my students excel within the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) structure, working through the grades and doing regular exams. Others do better just learning fun blues and jazz pieces. Additionally, some students do better learning by ear, others have a gift for reading music, so I try to work with the student's strengths to build confidence, then tackle at their own pace what they find difficult. I also try to instill an inquisitiveness about the theory of music rather than just learning by copying and repetition, so the student really understands what they are playing and the knowledge is for life.
