Border Mindfulness provides training in mindfulness to individuals, workplaces and through public courses.

Mindfulness is a particular way of paying attention to yourself and your surroundings - one based on being open, curious and kind.

A greater sense of ease and increased wellbeing can emerge with the cultivation of mindfulness in everyday life. This comes about through developing a direct and open relationship to things as they are.

Research conducted by the University of Massachusetts Medical School has shown that Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course participants have developed :

- Reductions in pain levels and an enhanced ability to cope with pain that may not go away
- Greater energy and enthusiasm for life
- Improved self-esteem
- An ability to cope more effectively with both short and long-term stressful situations

Border Mindfulness provides training and support in your direct experiential learning of formal and informal mindfulness practices. Having an experiential understanding of mindfulness enables you to see for you yourself what it's like to respond, rather than just react, to life's events and circumstances.
