Steel Construction Australia (SCA) are a steel frame manufacturing business based on the Gold Coast. Our strengths include the expertise of two in-house engineers, Giovanni Pellegrino (Mechanical Engineer) and Ricardo Ramirez (Structural Engineer). Gio, with 25 + years experience in the manufacturing industry, heads up manufacturing; and Ricardo, who has worked on large commercial projects, multi-res and exclusive homes, runs the design office. This is a niche where our highly skilled engineers excel. In addition, Ricardo also manages the Certification of all projects.
SCA are proud partners of Howick - we only use the latest technology rollformers to produce exceptional frames. We are one of the few suppliers that uses technology that can produce a load or end-bearing stud. This means your structure will have increased integrity and not be noisy as the stud engages directly with the bottom plate; our competitors frames do not rest on the bottom plate and are dependent on the screws to take the shear load. Cutting-edge Vertex software is used to design and detail structures.
