Osteopathy is more than just bones!
Osteopaths treat a variety of musculoskeletal complaints that involve joint pain, muscle pain, ligament sprains, and nerve pain. Our practitioners are fully qualified, experienced practitioners that provide therapeutic manual treatments that are complemented with educational and therapeutic advice and management.
Manual techniques - Also known as hands-on techniques. Our osteopaths identify important areas and the types of dysfunction in your body. Techniques such as stretching and massage for general treatment of the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) along with mobilisation of specific joints and soft tissues are used to relieve your symptoms.

Nutrition - Food is medicine. It contains all the nutrients and minerals that are required for good health. Together, we look at your daily diet and adjust it to suit you and your body. We don't eliminate, we substitute, so you are still left with real food to eat!

Rehabilitation - Exercise is gold. Strengthening the muscles and mobilising the joints through exercise really speeds up progress and helps to prevent the injury or pain from recurring. Our osteopaths will discuss with you what type of exercises you are able to do and the best way to fit it into your daily life.

Dry Needling - Our osteopaths are trained in the skill of dry needling. Dry needling stimulates neural pathways, which can help fast track healing. The practice of dry needling includes inserting acupuncture needles into various trigger points on the body which can relax overactive muscles and reduce pain.

Percussion Therapy - It is particularly great for tendon injuries. Your osteopath will discuss with you if this treatment technique may be of benefit to you.

Hi my name is Jodee Shead. I have been a massage therapist since 2002. I have continued my learning in this field as I find it fascinating. Being a massage therapist is very rewarding and I love my work.
There is nothing better than a client coming in with pain, discomfort and limited movement and walking out of my clinic feeling much better and having a much better range of movement.
Before I became a massage therapist I nursed for 10 years. But found it didn't make me feel fulfilled in my working life. I knew I needed to find something that I would enjoy. During maternity leave for my 2nd child, I began looking around for what interested me. This lead me to Massage Therapy and I haven't looked back since.
Specialising in sporting injuries due to working alongside a man who has been in the business for 30 years. His experience and knowledge is not taught at any College. I spent the first 8 years working with him learning as much of his skills as I possibly could. 8 years definitely well spent.
