Moveabout Therapy Services provides high quality services including occupational therapy and speech therapy, parent coaching and support, intensive therapy and consultation.
Through empowering children and families, we provide tools for living outside of the therapy environment.
Our Occupational Therapy staff work to assist children with underlying challenges (motor, sensory, social, emotional, behaviour) as well as the functional tasks they find difficult (handwriting, dressing, eating, toileting, playing, social skills).
Our Speech Pathologists have worked with children with a variety of speech and language difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorders. They are trained in a variety of assisted communication techniques such as PECS, and electronic devices such as Ipads.
Our staff have experience and training in Australia, Ireland and the United States of America and continually aim to provide the best service based on the most current information.
Families may receive reimbursements from Medicare and Private Health. Medicare initiatives include the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), the Mental Health Care Plan and FaHCSIA's Better Start and Helping Children with Autism initiatives.
