I am a university qualified primarily school teacher. In primary school I had several learning difficulties so I know first hand what it is like to struggle in the classroom. I tutor students in K - 8 in English and Maths. My passion is to help all students succeed and feel more confident in themselves.

In primary school I had several learning difficulties so I know first hand what it feels like to struggle in the classroom amongst peers. My passion is to help ALL children succeed and feel more confident in themselves.

I work alongside teachers by tailoring students learning to what they are focusing on in the classroom each week/ fortnight to help them succeed and feel more confident in the classroom. For example, if teachers are focusing on addition and subtraction for 2 weeks, I replicate this in tutoring sessions with the hope that students will feel more confident to complete classroom activities and answer questions in class. I use the same model with English as well.

I also home school students in Maths and English, I offer individual tutoring and small group work. I keep group sizes small to maximize the time spent on students learning whilst providing a hands on, practical, engaging and stimulating environment to share ideas, collaborate and work together as a group.
