Compass Retirement Living Choices was developed in answer to feedback received from numerous residents already living in Retirement Villages across NSW and Victoria, they responded to two simple survey questions:
1. Are you happy with the Retirement Village you have chosen and the lifestyle it affords you?
2. Were there any aspects of your initial search for your perfect Retirement Village that you were not prepared for or confused your ability to fast track the search process?
The responses were varied, but there was suggestion that the information provided led some to remain confused as to what model of Village they were researching and the complexities of independent living, supported living, low level care and the all important question of what happens when I am no longer able to look after myself and require care?
