Next Academy specialises in 1-on-1 tuition. We have a repertoire of tutors around Sydney who are able to teach students from Years 1-12. Our main areas of focus are Opportunity Class, Selective School Exams and HSC.
1. MISSION STATEMENT
Every student is different and we believe there is no set standard to teaching. We strive to provide the best individually tailored support available to students through inspirational and passionate tutors to ensure improvement of the student.
2. OUR METHOD
Our main focus is developing strong foundations in basic understanding of principles. This is achieved through focused teaching and constant revision so students do not learn and forget. Students then learn how to answer questions to maximise their marks. Students constantly review by being challenged with revision questions and prompts by the tutor.
Tutors also empower students by sharing their experiences, knowledge and tips on how to approach homework, assignments and exams. Tutors may also provide valuable insight into subject choices for high school students.
Our tutors understand to achieve the most marked improvement a targeted approach to the weak areas of students are needed.
Our tutors get straight to the point and do not teach redundant information which will not be tested. This will save student time and parent's money.
3. EXPERIENCE
Our tutors are assessed by their experience, academic results, extra-curricular activities and finally an interview. This process ensures we only hire the best tutors with excellent communication skills and a passion to teach. Our repertoire of tutors include those who have achieved State HSC ranks, 99+ ATAR, distinctions in university and those who have excelled in leadership roles in university and/or the community.
Our tutors have access to a huge database of resources to provide the best resources for our students. Resources cover syllabus dot points, assignments and many past papers from various schools. They will also assist in time management, exam techniques and give advice from their experiences.
We assess our tutors and ask for feedback regularly to promote quality assurance.
