Blueprint Podiatry was born out of a love and genuine care for helping people. From toddlers learning to walk, school-aged athletes, to mum & dad weekend warriors and their parents too. Blueprint Podiatry is here to help with all of your Footcare needs.
Mr Matthew Shanahan, Principle Podiatrist at Tuggerah Podiatry, is a Central Coast local. He completed his education in his home state, receiving a Bachelor of Podiatry degree in 2010 from the University of Newcastle.
During his studies he focused on High Risk Diabetic foot care and Sports Medicine. He is confident in treating common toe and forefoot complaints to complex rear foot and ankle pathologies. His interests in the field of podiatry include Sports medicine, Nail Surgery, and Paediatrics.
He is Registered by the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association, and is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. When not in the Clinic, Matt has a passion for traveling and the outdoors. He enjoys baseball, golf, surfing, snowboarding, fishing and swimming.
Patients of all ages and new patients are welcome at Tuggerah Podiatry. He enjoys treating all types of foot problems including: heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and children's gait abnormalities.
He enjoys educating his patients about their foot problems, giving conservative as well as surgical treatment options. Matt believes that the better educated a patient is about their health the better their overall outcome and lifestyle will be.
