Hi! I'm Fiona. I started Fiona's Pet Services because I have a love and passion for animals. With over 10 years' experience caring for animals, I can give you the peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands! We are a mother and daughter team. We are passionate caring pet owners, our two k9's are our world. We are highly motivated, trustworthy & honest. Our unconditional love for our own pets is endless. We love to exercise daily with them from beach walks, sniffy walks, swims to every day walks in the neighbourhood or to the parks that also offer off leash play.
We focus on Positive reward training with our pets. Myself & my daughter have both grown up with dogs all our life, from rearing puppies to raising our own.
With support of my daughter who is a "Certified Concept Trainer" and also carries a certificate in Pet First Aid, we are police checked, and carry Public Liability Insurance.
For transport to pick up and collect the pets for walks we have a VW Caddy Van. We can offer the option of providing various dog leads or long lines for freer experiences & harnesses for our walks with your beloved pet.
We also would like to offer the extra possibility of taking pets out and about in our jogger pram, that are mobility impaired, or simply age is a barrier. They just as much deserve to see and smell the world around them and receive socialisation regardless. Its just so rewarding seeing them out and about.
The main driver of our passion for dogs and their well being stems from our sadly passed Chihuahua, who taught us the importance of being present, patient, and taking a moment to stop and smell the flowers, for a walk is never "just a walk" to a dog. He instilled in us the belief that there is no such thing as a bad dog - we all have our strengths and weaknesses and in a world where our pets are faced with constant novelty, being present and patient can make all the difference.
I strongly believe that myself & my daughter can offer all clients & their beloved K9's fun productive walks with benefits.....
