Angela is a Naturopath & Remedial Massage Therapist in Newcastle who is very passionate about health and wellbeing. She believes that there is an importance of incorporating more than one modality of medicines for the body to be balanced. After completing her Advanced Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine in early 2005, she started practicing as a Naturopath on the Gold Coast. She was determined to continue educating herself about the body and disease processes from a scientific perspective. It was then that she completed her Bachelor Health Sciences in Complementary Medicine through Charles Sturt University in 2009 and soon realised the importance of Evidence Based Medical Practices. Throughout her degree, her interests were in Fertility and Nutrition. Angela then completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage.
Angela is also an Iridologist, meaning scientific analysis of the iris and has used this tool in all of her practices. The iris can show signs and markings, including colours that represent certain organs in the body. It is quite accurate and patients are often surprised at the results. Nutrient deficiencies, acidity levels, along with strengths and weaknesses of particular organs of which you may not be aware of, are identified using an iridology torch.
Working in conjunction with your GP, Angela will help you gain more knowledge about the impotence of natural medicines, incorporated with your pharmaceutical medications, if any. Angela will aim to minimise symptoms, support the body to heal itself along with educate about your own health whilst bring balance into the system.
