Soft tissue therapy is an advanced form of remedial massage and works on the body's soft tissues including muscles, fascia or connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and also joints.

Working with gentle pressure but extracting maximum effect from the body, a soft tissue therapist can resolve chronic postural issues, alleviate pain and tension as well as helping rebalance your nervous system.

Remedial Massage - If you are in pain, suffering from an injury, or have postural issues you know need addressing then a remedial massage is the best choice. Generally in remedial massage your therapist will use deeper and stronger pressure than in a relaxation massage. If you prefer lighter pressure then try a relaxation massage instead or if you need the deeper work but find remedial massage too painful then try bodywork instead, which is gentle but also works deeply.

Relaxation Massage - If your primary need is to relax and unwind and you generally prefer lighter pressure then a relaxation massage is what you need. Whilst a relaxation massage is gentle, it is still a powerful healing experience combining the effects of touch and aromatherapy (use of essential oils) making it a blissful way to recover from stress and tension.
