Counselling
Counselling & psychotherapy is an interpersonal relationship process that promotes the clients mental, emotional, social & spiritual health & wellbeing. Counselling enhances self-understanding and insight, aims to resolve identified personal & professional problems through a supportive relationship. Problems can include stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, traumas, parenting, family & women's issues. Holistic counselling & psychotherapy involves mindfulness, talking, journalling, creative arts & eco practices, role playing and movement. It is focussed on the past, present & future.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness coaching works by cultivating the capacity to focus attention, regulate emotions and expand awareness. Mindfulness Coaching involves learning specific meditations and practicing skills & cultivating attitudes that integrate the mind and body and give rise to insight. It involves acceptance, gentle nurturing, developing spaciousness, compassion and equanimity. Mindfulness helps reduce stress, anxiety and depression & helps develop your resources for living authentically. Mindfulness is focussed on what is happening in the here & now. My mindfulness coaching draws from evidence-based MBSR & Buddhist psychology traditions.
