Comprehensive Oral Examination
If you're a new or an existing patient and you've not been to us for 18 months, a comprehensive examination is required. This is an extensive evaluation and recording of all extra oral, intra oral, soft and hard tissues; x-rays are also taken. A periodic exam is then recommended every six months along with a hygiene to maintain good oral health.{}

A hygiene, or scale and clean, removes plaque, calculus and some staining that regular brushing can't achieve. It is important to have a hygiene every six months to help maintain good oral health.
