Being ideally located in Dunsborough, Stableford Cottage Holiday Home is very central: Yallingup in less than 10 min drive, Dunsborough CBD in less than 5 min drive. You can go to the beach by bike if you want as its less than 2km away, and flat.

Why stay at Stableford Cottage Holiday Home? Because after leaving in Perth, WA for so many years and going "Down South" so often, well it made sense!

The first thing was: Why do we have to pay so much to stay there? It comes to a real budget at the end of the year. So while we did go camping during the first years and explore the Busselton - Margaret River region in depth, we eventually had our first kid, and then our second kid! While we love camping, we wanted to experience something different, like Air BNB and short term accommodation and be in a comfortable home, with proper beds, and a shower and toilet that is not 250m away :).

Also we wanted to ensure that the places we stayed at had a PROPER short term rental permit, and therefore an appropriate liability insurance cover.

Why is this so important?
Well because when your kid gets hurt in the place you rent, or damages something very expensive, you might only have to pay for the excess, and not the full cost of the whole Air Conditioning system for example!
Most AirBNB hosts don't have a permit issued by the city council and hence don't have the right insurance to cover your family when you stay in their place. It is a gamble - But we don't like to take our chances when it comes to people.

So, at Stableford Cottage, you can stay with the peace of mind that if you happen to get injured or hurt while at our place, we have liability cover... as we have a lawful permit issued by the City of Busselton and renewed each year.

That's when we thought it would be nice to have our own place, rent it to holiday makers just like us (and mainly families) with all the right insurance cover for everyone's benefit :)

The whole idea behind creating Stableford Cottage is to encourage people to go on holiday to Dunsborough without breaking the bank: An affordable holiday home. The other idea behind this project is to create a home that is kids friendly, with all the things you need when you travel with babies and young....
