From the first apple trees planted on the Narre Warren North orchard in 1950, we've grown to become one of Australia's largest fruit growers, and we've learned a thing or two about fruit over that time. When Bill Montague OAM started the orchard three-generations ago, he was driven by the same love of fruit that can be seen in Bill's Orchard Gate today. The love of fruit has taken us around the world to find the best tasting, natural fruit varieties and bring them home, where we grow and test them before bringing them to you - because we love fruit as much as you do.

Want to taste and buy in-season fruit picked straight from the orchard?

We have over 16 types of apples and in excess of 50 varieties of stone fruit, including apricots, nectarines, peaches and plums planted in our orchard for you to purchase when in season, along with our Montague Cider House and Sparkling Apple Juice.

Aside from fresh apples and stone fruits for sale, Bill's Orchard Gate features a tasting bar where you can learn more about the range of fruit available and sample the fruit before purchasing.

We are also passionate about supporting our local community and have partnered with local producers and makers to stock gourmet biscuits, chocolates and condiments, children's clothing, kitchen and homewares, picnic sets and more.
