Darren is an accomplished Construction Professional with over 30 years experience from Quantity Surveyor to Company Director, with skills and expertise in commercial and contractual management for building and civil engineering projects, encompassing both private and public sector works.
Darren has worked on contracts ranging from private homes to multi million dollar commercial projects. He has achieved successful and timely outcomes for both clients and contractors.
Darren is RICS and AIQS qualified and has worked extensively in the UK, where he started his career, and then across Australia; in the ACT, NSW and QLD.
Practised in project cost & revenue forecasting, change management and control, subcontractor procurement & management, claims, complete remeasurement, agreement and close out of final accounts.
Darren is experienced in the use of numerous forms of contract and methods of measurement. Proficient in contract claims issues with experience of adjudication, mediation and legal processes.
