Mystical Rose Belly Dance provides weekly and casual belly dance lessons within school terms. Catering for the beginner to the advanced dancer in a fun and nurturing environment. Workshops are on offer throughout the year to extend and refine technique.
Beginners Belly Dance - Intermediates welcomed
If you've ever wanted to give Belly Dancing ago come along to this fun 10 week course where you will learn the basic foundational moves. These moves will be the stepping stone into levels 1-4 as you build upon the foundation during term.
Intermediate dancers also welcomed as I run it as a multi-level class which means your techniques will be taught on your required level of experience so that you are expanding your repertoire.
Troupe is for participants with at least 6-12 months of belly dance experience.
Members of the Troupe class will learn Choreography and relative techniques which includes props such as Veil, Double Veil, Wings, Cane and Zills (finger cymbals). You will also learn to identify different Arabic rhythms and how to relate this to your belly dance movement using either choreography drills or improvisation.
Please bring: Yoga mat and water bottle. Dance shoes & hip belt (optional). Bare feet OK. Arrive five minutes before session time
