Established for over 20 years, The Studio of Dance offers dance tuition in the following styles of dance: Jazz, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Theatrical, Modern-Neo, Character Ballet, Acrobatics and VCE Dance

All ages are welcome, starting from 3+yrs. Beginner to Advanced standard in all classes. Places are limited. Private tuition is also available.

The Studio of Dance is conveniently located in Braeside, Melbourne. Our full time studio is ideal for students in the surrounding areas of Aspendale Gardens, Parkdale, Mordialloc, Chelsea Heights, Aspendale, Edithvale, Waterways, Dingley Village and Keysborough.

Our brand new studio is equipped with its very own private car park and is situated in a quiet court with plenty of car spaces and is easy for drop off as well. We have brand new sprung dance Tarkett flooring, new Ballet Barres and dance mirrors. There is a foyer with a kitchen facility, heating and cooling and toilet amenities. Upstairs we have our costume wardrobe and a dancer's retreat area for students to relax, socialise and utilise for their homework.

At The Studio of Dance, we offer optional exam and competition work throughout the year. We are extremely proud of our 100% pass rate in exams. Our dancers have also been Aggregate winners in many local Eisteddfods and are Ballet Company members. We provide both a mid year and full end of year dance production with all costumes provided. Past and present students from The Studio of Dance are currently also studying in full time dance courses and working as professional performers within the dance industry.

Principal Emma Thorneycroft leads a small and dedicated teaching team of young, energetic and experienced teachers. We pride ourselves on the quality of our training to provide a solid technical foundation. We consider our students part of our dance family and do not treat members simply as a 'number'. Our aim is to provide dance instruction in a safe, fun and professional environment. Our goal is to develop each individual students ability and to encourage their love of dance.....
