Biographical

Alan Stubenrauch is a clinical hypnotherapist who has practiced full-time in Melbourne, Australia, for well over thirty-five years. He has been president of the Complementary Medicine Association and the Council of Clinical Hypnotherapists, Australia. Both of these are national, professional organizations in Australia. In those roles, he was called upon regularly to present and speak to often large audiences. He has negotiated with government ministers and with senior industry personnel. He has addressed parliamentary committees and has written many substantial submissions to government. He has been instrumental in making, and changing legislation affecting hypnosis and natural therapies, in Australia and in some cases, having legislation removed. He has written numerous units for the study of hypnotherapy. He has been interviewed on TV as a hypnotherapist and has been invited to speak to numerous organisations, including the Australian Mind Foundation and the academic staff at Monash University, on the subjects of hypnotherapy, telepathy, the workings of the mind and spirituality. He has had clients attend his clinic in Melbourne, from twenty-two different countries, all by word-of-mouth. He is good at what he does and has a strong passion for our profession.

Background

Born in Melbourne, 9th August 1942. Completed college with maths and sciences. Studied Civlil Engineerung at RMIT. Then studied Land Surveying and Town and Country Planning, as well as Graphic Design, also at RMIT. Worked for advertisinng agencies and design studios in his twenties.
