Defence Veterans Association was formed to assist and represent the plight of younger veterans. We cater for current and ex-members of the Australian Defence Force, Reservists and Cadets. Our group is composed of members with varying ages and backgrounds.

Our group is composed of members with varying ages and backgrounds drawing experience from all facets of the ADF. We not only welcome but encourage the involvement of family and friends.

We acknowledge it can be a hard transition out of the forces and into civilian life. This can be made that much harder when you are dealing with injury/disability or illness. Our members have all at some point walked this path and are here so that you do not have to walk it alone.

Confusion and Frustration are very common when trying to identify and access entitlements and assistance. We are here to assist you and your loved ones every step of the way. Our volunteers are trained and up to date with the multiple acts of legislation that govern the access to your entitlements. As we are a not for profit orginisation our services are totally free of charge.We provide Welfare services,Pension Officers to assist with securing entitlements and pensions,Advocates to represent our members in more complex cases.We offer so much more than this, please visit our web site @ www.dva.org.au for more info.
