The Adapt-a-tap is a device that attaches to any tap (with an internal or external thread) and it uses a traffic light warning system to illuminate the water flow thereby alerting the user to the current water temperature range.

Green for cold (0-26)
Yellow for warm ( 27 - 38)
Red for hot ( 39 +)

The Adapt-a-tap also FLASHES red when the water is over 44 degrees so everyone knows when the water is too hot to handle!

The recommended temperature for bath water for babies and young children is 38 Degrees Celsius. This is why the Adapt-a-tap is set to change to RED when the temperature exceeds this figure.
