Hello beautiful people! I'm Angela, the owner of Proyager canvas bags.
My journey into owning Proyager started when I discovered an existing micro business designing beautiful canvas bags that I fell in love with. The natural colours and minimalist designs spoke to my own minimalist and natural sense of style. I took over the business In October 2015 and began to inject my own designs into the range.
However, my story in craft and design started much earlier. I've lived and breathed crafts since I was a very young girl and my passion for handbag design flowed from that a number of years ago when I started to craft bags in my home. I wanted to turn this passion, into something more.
My vision is to design stylish, high quality, long lasting bags, helping the free-spirited traveller, professional, student and every day commuter feel at home wherever they go. For me, Proyager is not only a brand of gorgeous bags, but a celebration of life. My aim is to share this passion and be a continuous source of inspiration.
I work passionately to combine style, function, durability and affordability into each bag design. Each bag is crafted from luxurious yet tough canvas trimmed with genuine bovine leather and infused with the natural colours, heart and soul of the people and landscapes of Australia. My quality canvas collection has the versatility you need to take you from urban to outback landscapes, from the office and studies, to everyday social occasions and shopping, right through to those yearned for weekends away, not to mention your favourite photography, artistic and other creative pursuits that will feed your soul.
