Hello, my name is Christina. I am a mature lady passionate about providing quality childcare. My service is offered to areas local to Ballina, northern New South Wales including Alstonville, Lennox Head, Byron Bay and surrounds. I offer my service seven days a week, casual or permanent, including overnight stays to local folk and holidaymakers.
I have completed Certificate III in Children's Services and studied the Rudloph Steiner philosophy of childcare and Hand in Hand Parenting. Certificates include First Aid, CPR, Childcare Insurance, Working with Children and National Police Checks.
My skills include those acquired while working as an in-home carer with the Family Day Care Scheme, private childcare and in early childhood centres.
I endeavour to create a fun loving, warm and creative atmosphere. I organise indoor/outdoor activities, general play, pick-ups and excursions, according to your directions. Children are encouraged to express themselves through art, crafts and building. Creative times spent with lots of cardboard, tape, scissors and glue are encouraged. TV is kept to a minimum but yoga, exercise and play offered. Bedtime routines and settling are part of the service.
Safety is of the utmost importance and I am always attentive to your children. I follow your rules and respect young adolescents. And I am happy to talk with you about children with special needs.
