Here at TheSHED Functional Fitness we offer a practical training space for individuals wanting to explore a new approach to fitness, movement and health. Our mission is to share with you the philosophies and wisdoms behind what it means to live a fit, healthy and happy lifestyle. Drawing on the scientific models of functional fitness and corrective exercise, our aim is to provide you with a practical understanding of what it means for you to move and perform naturally. Our members enjoy a training environment that not only teaches them how to move their bodies, but also offers the support of practical lifestyle coaching.
We want to work with those who are serious about achieving real fitness and health results. To that, we council people away from the typical "Body Building, Weight Loss, Fat Loss, Tone Up, Fad Diet, Quick Fix-Gimmick" approach to health. Instead promoting optimal results through sustainable health and lifestyle changes, coupled with a scientific approach to movement and fitness. We work with our clients closely to develop a customized, workable set of programs and choices, integrated into individual lifestyle situations.
