Hi, my name is Fiona and I am the owner of Paws & Claws Pet Sitting. Welcome to my page!

Whether you are going on holiday, going away for the weekend, busy at work or unable to care for your pet for any reason, Paws & Claws is here for your peace of mind...
Based in Parkdale, Melbourne; the main services we provide are:
House sitting, Pet sitting, Dog walking (group walks and private) and Home-boarding for small pets (rabbits/rodents etc).
So whether you need your cat feeding once or twice a day, need your dog walked every day or need someone to look after your house and rabbits for a week, we've got it covered!

Based in Parkdale, I mainly cover the Bayside and Kingston suburbs though may be able to cater for those further a field, please don't hesitate to ask.
Prices start from $25 for dog walking, $20 for cat feeds and $70 for an overnight stay. Block/regular bookings attract a discount.

A little bit about me...
I have just launched Paws & Claws here in Melbourne after moving here from the UK (where I also ran my own pet sitting business for years) last October. I have always had a passion for animals and consider it a privilege and a joy to work with them.
A few years ago our family socialised 'Hearing Dogs for the Deaf', a UK charity which helped hard of hearing people live their lives independently with the help of a furry friend! We had 15 dogs live with us over the years (some stayed for up to a year) and it never got any easier to say goodbye to them. But it was rewarding knowing that they may one day go on to change someone's life.
Pet sitting is a dream job for me and I get such satisfaction from looking after all the animals and making sure they are happy, safe and looked after :-)
Before I was able to work her in Australia I volunteered at a local animal shelter (AAPS Keyesborough) which was so rewarding and a great experience. I was in two minds about it at first as I knew I would want to take all the dogs home with me and be exposed to a lot of sadness, though I realised that someone has to help these little souls so best to be a part of it than turn a blind eye for fear of feeling sad.
I miss all my furry clients back in the UK but am really enjoying meeting all the new ones here in Australia!
