Fuel Tank and Pipe is a Western Australian company providing full turnkey design fabricate, construction, and maintenance of critical bulk fuel storage, liquid storage, ammonia storage, and associated infrastructure to the mining, resources and water sectors nation-wide. The company was founded 4 years ago by Des Roche who brought together his diverse experience in this sector. Des built Fuel Tank and Pipe on the back of an impressive resume of construction experience in the bulk fuel industry including:

• Former Construction Superintendant for a privately owned company that was a preferred supplier to Mobil Australia.
• Extensive industry experience with Shell and Mobil.
• Specialist advice for the design and construction of commercial and industrial fuel and oil installations.

Following a growing demand for a turn-key design and construct approach, Mike Raine joined the company as a director and engineering manager. The design team has grown include 8 engineers and CAD/Solid Works operators.

Complementing this design team is a full fabrication and construction team based in Perth and in the Pilbra, proving the company with the ability to control the process of a project throughout its complete lifecycle. This promises the clients of Fuel Tank and Pipe a quality result with strong controls on budget.

The company has seen real growth over the last 5 years and has become a preferred supplier with many mining companies and EPCM's including Rio Tinto, BHPB, Worley Parsons, Bilfinger Berger, Lycopodium, Citic Pacific Mining, and Leighton Contractors.

Fuel Tank and Pipe is a Member of the Petroleum Industry Contractors Association (PICA) and Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (ACEA).
