A local gym run by Volunteers since 1978. Boxing for competition (optional) and Fitness training for Families. FNQ, Australia.
Our Trainers have Blue Cards, First Aid and Boxing Trainer qualifications. Our gym is very family friendly. Come for fun, fitness, mentoring, rehabilitation, learn self defence or choose to box competitively as an amateur or professional boxer.

Ashley Cupitt OAM is a local legend who has been voluntarily coaching and mentoring Atherton Tablelands boxers since 1978.
Born into a boxing family, Ashley has harboured a passion for the sport his whole life and discovered his true calling in coaching and mentoring.
In 1994, Ashley shifted the boxing club from Atherton to Yungaburra and has voluntarily taught hundreds of locals how to box. A truly excellent coach, Ashley has taken several club members to glory at state and national competitions. He instructs people of all ages and abilities, running regular classes that harness boxing to keep healthy and fit.
Keen to address juvenile crime in the region, Ashley uses the club to mentor troubled youths in the community, helping them channel their energy into sport.
A true heavyweight in local spirit, Ashley is a key part of both the history and future of Boxing on the Atherton Tablelands.

Old School Training.
We mix all the ages and abilities together, so that the younger kids learn how to conduct themselves and everyone helps each other.

Sparring and competition are optional. We generally say 3 months of technique before sparring and a year of technique before competition - this does vary person to person, some are quicker and some are slower.

$5 per class plus
$70 yearly membership fee

or $20 per group class for Casuals.

Personal Training on Fridays after 5pm. (by appointment only).

Membership helps pay for rent, equipment replacement, Admin costs and insurance. Membership is January to December each year. Same as registration with Boxing League for Boxers.
