An International and National event bringing together Cgoirs from all over the worls and top speakers from the USA as well as Australia

ABOUT THE CHORAL FESTIVAL

The Choral Festival is a three day event where people who love music come together to celebrate all things choral. It's involves singing and celebrating choral music, workshops, networking, professional development.

Choirs including community, school, sacred, contemporary groups, chamber groups, and jazz ensembles have been invited to take part in this 4th Choral Festival. The concerts will reflect the different styles and will enthral the audience with diversity.

CULTURAL EXCHANGE


The general idea of cultural exchange between groups is to create choirs meetings through hospitality, with music being the common theme, in order to familiarize cultures, traditions and local folklore of all shades ,thus, creating a comprehensive level of experience, friendly relationships and mutual learning of songs, inspired by the magic of music.

Exchanges between the choirs will last for as long as they wish to extend the friendship and in coordination between the choirs. This festival will facilitate this unique interaction between the different groups.



SPEAKERS



Our speakers have been carefully selected to give a blend of fresh ideas to singers and teachers alike. Choirs and Ensembles will greatly enjoy the challenge that Mark O’Leary, Dr. Russell Robinson and John Christmass will bring to the greater choral community.



THE VENUES

The venues have been selected to enhance the ability and the diversity of the different groups, Choirs and Ensembles will have the opportunity to perform at the Mandurah Performing Art Centre, the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre and at the New Lyric Theatre in Bunbury, as well as at the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries.


THE LOCATION

The event is predominately held in Bunbury but there will be workshops in Mandurah, as well as an evening concert. Mandurah is situated thirty minutes from Perth.
Bunbury is located 1 1/2 hours from Perth on some of the best coastline Western Australia has to offer. Combine that with some of the best beaches in WA as well as the great wine regions of the South West and you have the perfect location for this fantastic event.
