The aim of Kids on Keys Music School is to provide professional music lessons in a caring, encouraging and creative environment. The dedicated and experienced teachers offer private one-on-one lessons for students of all ages and levels of experience.

Cheryl Russell, well known jazz singer on the coast, has recently become the proud new owner of Kids on Keys Music School located at Oxenford. Cheryl Russell, who has recently returned to her maiden name from Cheryl Britt, has been teaching singing locally and on the coast since 1999, and says that learning a musical instrument has many benefits....and the good news is....it's never too late to start!
Did you know that learning a musical instrument not only helps to build self esteem, self expression and creativity, but it also helps with coordination, discipline, memory, mathematical ability, concentration and problem solving?
And of course, it's a lot of fun too!
Kids on Keys specialises in teaching various music styles with a range of instruments including acoustic, electric, bass, rhythm or classical guitar, saxophone, drums (jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, bossa, samba and blues), piano, violin, flute, keyboard, clarinet, recorder and all contemporary singing styles.
Kids on Keys fully equipped and air-conditioned studios are located at 2/52 Siganto Drive, Oxenford (cnr of Siganto Drive & Grey Gum St). They also have their own auditorium to host all their musical events; in fact, the school runs two concerts a year giving students the opportunity to perform in front of family and friends. These concerts are designed to be fun, to encourage and support all of our students, at all levels. Performing in front of a live audience is a great way to develop performance skills and build confidence.
